Elegoo has released a significant firmware update for the Neptune 4 and Neptune 4 Pro, bringing long-awaited motion control enhancements and compatibility with advanced Klipper features.
The headline upgrade is full support for Arc Move (G2/G3 commands) — allowing curved toolpaths instead of approximated segments. This drastically reduces G-code size and enables smoother curves, especially for cylindrical or organic parts.
Also included:
- Input Shaping profiles for all Neptune 4 variants
- Pressure Advance tuning for improved extrusion control
- Updated touchscreen UI with live print stats and toolhead info
- Full Klipper config access, editable via USB or web interface
- Support for Mainsail and Fluidd out of the box
Elegoo confirmed that the new firmware is backward-compatible with Neptune 4, 4 Pro, and 4 Max. A new GitHub repository has also been published to help users customize or revert settings.
This update puts Elegoo’s firmware stack closer to Bambu Lab and Prusa in terms of real-time control and performance feedback—without requiring full DIY modding.
Firmware packages and changelog are available now on Elegoo’s official website and GitHub.
