Janus, the startup known for ambitious modular hardware, has officially released its long-awaited hybrid 3D printing platform—blending FDM and resin printing into one unified system. Marketed as the first truly customer-ready solution of its kind, the machine features dual extruders, a built-in resin bath, and a proprietary AI syncing tool that automatically detects material type and adjusts print parameters in real time.

With a sleek form factor and touchscreen control panel, Janus’s printer aims to make hybrid fabrication approachable for professionals and advanced makers alike. “We wanted to eliminate the learning curve and enable multi-material prints that just work,” said CEO Liora Chen during the live demo.

Notably, the machine supports up to 400mm FDM prints and 120mm SLA components, with seamless mid-print switching between modes. The built-in AI module even suggests infill patterns and support strategies based on live mesh analysis.

Preorders are open now, with shipments expected by late Q4.
