While full specs have yet to be revealed, the teaser image posted on Bambu’s official WeChat account shows a redesigned extruder body with a dual-gear drive and a hardened steel filament path — optimized for carbon-reinforced filaments like PA-CF and PET-CF.
Accompanying notes hint at:
- Improved filament grip under high speed
- Swappable hardened gears and drive rollers
- Enhanced cooling system and quick-change nozzle
- Internal support for input shaping calibration routines
This would mark the first official hardware upgrade for the P1 series and a direct response to user demands for stronger materials support without jumping to the X1C.
